Page 1- BRITISH ACROBATICS CHAMPIONSHIPS 2007
FENTON MANOR 24TH & 25TH MARCH
New British Champions were crowned in the first televised Acrobatics Event in the U.K and with one giant leap into the future, British Acrobatics also used a huge TV screen to show all the action live, and despite disappointing audience figures for the weekend, the Championships opened with a real sense of anticipation. Clubs from around the U.K. gathered, some for their first appearance at British, standing proudly alongside long established giants Spelthorne, Deerness, Wakefield Bromley, and King Edmunds plus the exciting newcomers from Harefield and Oxford and older Clubs such as South Tyneside who have made fantastic progress. As the National Anthem ended, the audience buzzed with excitement cheering their gymnasts in the biggest weekend of the year for British Acro & Tumbling Clubs.
And we were there for the whole weekend to bring you the very best of the action from the British Acrobatics & Tumbling Championships in our fantastic 21 page photo special featuring over 1,000 fantastic photos from Cherry-Ann Ballantyne and Tumbling photos by Ken Summerfield. We begin our coverage with the March On and the opening routines. All Acro photos are copyright of Cherry - Ann Ballantyne and must not be copied or reproduced in any way without permission.
