Our unrivalled coverage of the British Acrobatics and Tumbling Championships continues with fantastic action photos from Spelthorne and Harefield plus many of the other competitors from Acro Clubs around the U.K.
Claire-Louise Thompson, Grace Blacklock and new partner Hannah Feeney competed in the Out of Age category, and a terrific performance saw the first British Title of the Championships go to the Harefield Gymnastics Academy, less than a year since the Club was launched. The trio marked their debut in November winning Gold at the British Open Tournament and the girls continued their success at the British Championships winning Gold with 53.49, with South Staffs winning Silver.
Spelthorne have their biggest elite squad in the history of the Club with several exciting new partnerships emerging including Liz Oliver and Katie Axten who swept to Gold in the Senior Womens Pairs at the Bristol International. Also making their first appearance at a British Championships as a new partnership, Casey Morrison, Emily Grove and Victoria Lamkin, with both bases making their debut at Senior Level.
