The Individual Finals took place yesterday and the whole of Europe witnessed some incredible performances in in the Men and Women’s Trampoline, Tumbling & DMT & Synchro Finals including 2 new World Records!

Russia lead the Medal Table with 5 Gold Medals with fantastic performances with China second. Great Britain won Bronze in the Women’s Tumbling and were unfortunate not to win more medals, but our gymnasts achieved some excellent results with several 4th and 5th places in the World! Our Men’sTrampoline Team created history by qualifying for their first World Championships Final! Congratulations to all of the gymnasts and medallist’s on a fantastic Championships! The final medal table and new World Champions are shown below!

WORLD TRAMPOLINE, TUMBLING AND DMT   CHAMPIONSHIPS - FINALS LIVE ON EUROSPORT TOMORROW NIGHT AND SATURDAY!

The build up has ended and now competition begins! The opening ceremony for the World Championships Trampoline, Tumbling and Double Mini Trampoline took place last night in Eindhoven, Netherlands last night and 490 gymnasts from 37 countries begin their challenge for the World Title today!     

The qualifying rounds for the three disciplines begin this morning, and continue tomorrow with Individual events, and the first Finals are tomorrow evening with the Team Finals followed by the Individual Finals on Saturday.  Eurosport will be showing the Finals LIVE across Europe, with highlights also being shown. T.V. times appear at the end of this article.

Martin Dawes, the British Head of Delegation commented “Our Team are looking good. Preparation’s done, now is the time to deliver the goods. We look strong in all categories and we would love to final in every discipline. Judging by what we have seen at the training though, it’s not going to be easy, but the British Team are every well prepared and they are looking strong”.
